There is no way to pluck the chicken feathers and put them back right?
Same thing goes to Flash. You cannot convert swf back to fla. You should not rip other people's work and plunk it into your website. You can load swf movies into the main flash movie. That way you can have all the flash movies together. Hope that helps. ![]() ------------------ |

Hi Lembu--
After reading your original post one more time, I believe I understand what you are asking ... Say this is what you have done ... you have a movie, and you have another .swf that you want to include in the first movie without using Load Movie ... here is how you do it without having to recreate the second .swf ... 1. Open the destination movie, create a movie clip and open the movie Library ... 2. Open the .fla of the second .swf, unlock all the layers, highlight everything in the timeline (this picks up your layers and the contents of the stage for each layer). In Edit, you need to choose copy frames ... 3. In the new mc of the destination .fla, click in the keyframe and choose Edit>Paste Frames. This should copy all the graphics to your movie, but watch your Library to be sure everything comes in as it should ... if something doesn't copy into the library, drag it from the second .fla library into the destination .fla Library. This will probably have to be done with any movie clips in the second .fla, but be sure that you also check your tell targets and actions as their paths might be changed (up one level). It is always good practice to save to another file name during authoring sessions and do not rely solely on the save option ... larger .fla's can become corrupted and you do not want to lose a couple of hours of work ![]() ------------------ cheers - boomer |

Hi, Try using Sothink SWF Quicker. It is a professional tool to edit swf file without fla file. All the imported elements and ActionScript can be easily modified and decompiled back to new SWF movie with all functions of the original flash movie. I have been working with it for a long time and really enjoy it. Hope it helps! |
