Hello all,

Still getting to grips with flash 5!

I have put together a small flash file with buttons and an information area. Hover over the buttons and the info panel displays related topics.


Now some of the buttons are simple rollovers and are just BUTTONS but a couple of others that I'm experimenting with are MC's so that I can control the button state more precisely.

I have a button which has some AS telling the info_MC to goto a certain label like this;

_root.infoMC.gotoandplay("labelone");

There are a total of nine buttons in all and each has this AS telling the info MC to goto the relevant label.

Although I'm still testing and developing this file it does work on a pc. But when I preview the html page on my mac with IE5 only the simple button rollovers work, communication to the other MC's (including the buttons which I've made MC's are ignored?

Can anyone help me out here, is there something I've missed when either making the movie or publishing it?
