Picture or Movieclip OVER a Button.
why is it that a button still functions even though a picture or movie clip is OVER it. Is there any way to change this with actionscript or am i just missing a very simple feature of flash?
My aim is to open up a dialog box over the application i am running, but of course all the buttons in the application still rollover and work even though my dialog box is on top of it. I mean I could make the whole dialog box a button so that it stops the underneath buttons activating but this is kind of messey and gives the impression that the dialog box itself is a button (which it is but it does nothing) Any Ideas?
