Ok guys,
Sorry for the ‘length’, but the more I expand on this, the easier it will be for you to answer
I have made a “dent” in Flash and decided it was time to learn HTML pages.
Kinda went about it the wrong way, but that’s another issue.

I took up dreamweaver 3 and am having pretty good luck, so far.
One “trick” I learned is to open fireworks 3. Create a pic that is 10 pixels by 10 pixels.
I then zoom WAY in and I color the first row of pixels with a dark green. ( the background color is black by the way )
I then color every other pixel row for the 10 pixels down.
I go back into dreamweaver and set this 10X10 pixel image as the background.
It tiles across the whole page no matter how big a monitor you have.
Looks pretty cool, very thin green lines on a black background.

This is the first “step”.
I was able to download an extension for dreamweaver that opens a linked page full screen … www.egomedia.com is a perfect example.

I then create a flash movie and this is the movie that will be launched full screen from the HTML dreamweaver page that is “tiled” with the 10X10 pixel image.

Here is the “problem”. How do I also set this 10 pixel square background image to be the background image in the Flash movie that will be opened fullscreen ?

The actual background color for both pages ( the canvas color of the 10X10 pixel background tile image is ) 51,51,51.
Not actually black, but close.
I have tried setting the flash movie background to this RGB setting. Then opening the HTML file of the flash movie and setting this 10 pixel background image as the background image.
Problem is that there will be a big “block” right in the middle of the page.
All around this ‘block’ that contains the flash animation I am experimenting with I will see the 10 pixel background image.
But the actual flash file/animation that is inserted right in the middle of this HTML page has only the 51,51,51 color, no 10 pixel background image….

Is there a way to insert a really small 10 pixel background image in a flash movie and have it tile like it did in dreamweaver ?

Any and ALL help would be appreciated
