hi,
i don't quite know what else to do...
i've imported some png files for transparency from both fireworks and photoshop. The problem is that i can noticeably see artifacting which is causing the area around the images to be a different color than the background. The .png file was set to have an alpha channel for transparency, which is why i didn't think that i would have a color issue. I've tried importing gifs and bmps only to recieve much of the same result.... i don't know if it has anything to do with pallettes or anythig like that... does any one know a way to get around this...?
