okay here's what i am trying to do:
i need form containing file upload to be invoked in flash page.

clearly, <input type=file> lies in background html.

when movie is transparent, you can't get focus there (or can you - how?); and style.zIndex seems to be ignored by flash player, so you can't rise the form up over the flash movie...

what to do?

don't even think to suggest popup/frame and other fakes for a solution - a question is about a principle, not a particular form-job-to-be-done-by-any-means.
