Howdy,
Would anyone know how to move a movieclip's position up a level, after an event like a mouseDown. I tried duplicating and removing a clip but that doesn't seem to do it. What I am trying to do is drag an instance of a dynamic clip, but it is behind a masked layer, inside another clip. I want to get it out of that, and onto the root level, and out from behind the mask. This is a kind of drag and drop effect, but I'm trying to move through different levels rather than just one. If you can help, thanks, otherwise don't sweat it, I am patiently working on it as you read this. Peace
