I am in an affiliate program for a website, but in that program, they only offer some ugly GIF animated banners.

On their main site, they have some really attractive, eye-catching flash banners.

However, the URL in those banners point directly to the site URL.

I want to have it so I can insert my affiliate code into their flash banners.

I asked them about it, but the people there are totally clueless, and have no idea what I am talking about.

I have tried importing from the SWF file to a new FLS file, but some of the images do not get imported.

I also tried HEX editing the file, but the furthest I could get with that was changing the URL to only one that is the exact same length - any longer or shorter and the link would not work.

I know there is a program out there that lets you change the URL in SWF files, but it's pretty shady, and $40 for a one time thing is just a bit too much for me.

You guys know my intentions are good, would you be willing to help me?

Is there any way to do what I want to do? Maybe I could give someone the SWF file, and have them properly import it?

Or is there a way I could use a URL forward and keep the SWF the same?

Or a way to HEX edit the file with a longer address, and have it work?

There has to be some way, other than paying some flash pirate group $40

I'd appreciate any help
