I've created a grid by making two lines and duplicating them loads of times to form a grid with the lines at 4 pixel intervals and turned the whole lot into a graphic symbol.
Trouble is, although it is not adding much to the download time, it is causing movies and actionscript to run slowly. I'm not sure why as I thought that once it is downloaded, it is downloaded. This is definately the case as when I remove the grid, everything runs ok. Does anyone know a way around this or know if I can create my grid another way without slowing down my movies?
