Seamless looping broken in 11.2
We have been looping our H.264 videos without any issues since FP 9. As we are a medial imaging application, it is very important that there be very little delay in restarting the video. As of 11.2 and the new "pipline" architecture, the video stops near the end and pauses for about a second. We are having to force our users to go to 11.1 or 10.3 of the player. This is a real pain and not very nice to deal with as browsers like Chrome force you to opt in on every page load of the flash plugin. There is a command line override for Chrome but it is a lot to deal with for customers. This is a show stopper because our customer will not be able to down grade much longer because of security concerns.
This bug (3163043) was reported to Adobe on April 11. A sample web link was provided that clearly shows the problem. All that Adobe has done so far is to say they cannot reproduce the issue. I think this is a sign that Adobe does not consider Flash are not a priority any longer. Obviously they did not test their 11.2 release very well. I guess we need to start looking at other technologies to remove Adobe from the mix.
