After the news of Flash Mobile is dead went around the internet. There have been surface of news that silverlight will be the next to go.
Silverlight is Microsoft Flash killer and Microsoft has vested heavily in this technology and is currently used on Windows Phone 7 and their websites. There are specific Partner tie ups and reseller for Silverlight technology. It would be difficult and challenging for Microsoft to remove Silverlight out of the equation. However the challenges for MS is to consider integrating Silverlight within Windows 8. Whether Flash or Silverlight will come out a winner, only time can tell.
