syncing an audio file to an executable file
hi,
i have an swf movie that will be viewed as an executable file. this movie has an audio file which is linked to the actions in the movie. When i created it, i synced the actions along with the audio file so everything matched up perfectly. But when i emailed it to my friend who watched it on his computer, the sync was all off. i then watched it on a different computer, and the sync was off there too. It seems that each computer played the file differently so the sync is different each time. I thought i was avoding this complication by placing the audio file in the 3rd frame of the movie while all the graphics are placed in the first frame. I did this so that the graphics would all pre-load and then the audio wouldn't start while the graphics were proeloading. I'm doing something very wrong, I just have no idea what it is. Any ideas would be most helpful. Thank you. |
