autoscroll on object drag
Okay, I'm looking for the best way to do this. I haven't actually started yet, but wanted to see if I could get ideas from here. What I have is an area that has a vertical and horizontal scrollbar (custom; I didn't use the Flash UIComponents). When the user drags an object within the area to the right or bottom, the area has to scroll/pan in the dragged direction. Of course once that happens and any object is dragged to the left/up, it has to pan back. Any ideas/suggestion as to how best to go about this?
