Hi, hoping someone can help me on this as I’m not that experienced in Flash and am at the point of throwing my ‘pute against a wall!

I have a basic contact form taken from an online Flash tutorial (http://info.template-help.com/files/..._form_work.swf ). I’ve amended the actionscript and php file to get everything working so I can receive emails and that’s all working as it should.

Everything was working fine until I tried to attach a UIScrollbar to the message textfield. The issue is that when the contact form comes up it’s showing this in all of the input text areas (name, email, phone, message):

_level0.instance24.instance25.Message

which seems to correspond to the UIScrollbar as that was the line of text it came up with in the message textfield. I deleted the scrollbar so it shouldn't be referencing anything like that...but it is...

When I click my reset button it clears everything and I can use the form ok but how do I get it so that line of text doesn’t show up in the first place??!

The contact form is a separate movieclip, all actionscript for the reset/send buttons is within that movieclip and doesn’t refer to any other timelines.

I’ve named each of the input text areas correctly (instance name – Name, Email, etc… and the corresponding Var – Name, Email, etc…).

I’ve also deleted the contact form and started again from scratch and it’s still bringing up that line even though there’s nothing that I can see that would cause it to happen.

If someone can help me work out why these lines of text are coming up (and how I can stop them!) it would be massively appreciated.
