swf trouble
Hi Everyone,
I'm a bit new to the Flex development scene and had a question that I was hoping someone can help me with. I have been trying to load a swf from a Flex app so that it can either be loaded by selecting the tab where it is sitting or even triggering the swf by clicking on a button. I have gotten the swf to load both via a loader and via the swfloader however I have been running into an issue that I am not sure how to resolve. The swf has multiple layers and also has zooming built into it. When the swf loads, it seems like the loader and/or swfloader is ignoring the sizes set by the actual swf (I sent a width of 1019 and a height of 665 with no scaling). Instead of displaying the swf within those measurements, the loader is not displaying the layers of the swf one on top of another, it is using the entire page as the stage for the swf and is displaying various pieces is various locations, zooming also fills the entire screen instead of staying within the width and height set. The swf runs but looks a little ridiculous. Anybody have a solution for this weird issue? Thanks in advance! |
