Growing Lines
Hi All!
First off, I new to Flash, but am OK with HTML Js etc and have a couple of newbie questions, which are probably, hopefully easy to answer! I'm on CS4. 1) What I wish to do, is the "classic" of making lines grow over the page. I managed this with a rectancgular mask, which I motion tweened over the drawn line in a superimposed mask layer to end up covering, thus revealing all the line elements I wanted to grow. This works, but seems to me to be a bit of a long way round, or is it the way to do it? 2) The next question, is how to make a thicker line grow a distance (I can get this far) and then change angle, say 90 and continue growing in another direction. This stumps me. I would say these things are similar, but the first would be a precise hairline or 1 pt line and the second would be a lot thicker, painted with the brush, possibly organic and could eventually be used as a mask over the first....? 3) How do I get an animation to play only once!!?? I hope this is understandable. I did a search and couldn't find much, but it is hard to know what to search for! Many thanks for any pointers! Last edited by PatrickB : 02-18-2009 at 03:10 PM |
