Animating Hand-drawn "Stills"
Ok, so I am a complete newbie when it comes to animation. I'm not sure if this is the "help" section of the site, or if there is one, but I thought I'd post anyway. See what people have to say!
I'm trying to do a very simple animation in flash, it is going to be predominantly still images displayed for a few seconds each... but I want to give it that hand drawn rough "sketchy" look, and I'm not sure how. I'm sure everyone has seen the look: the lines kinda shift, and the images are not completely stoic. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly, or if the technique has an actual name, but as an example I'll provide the old TV show Stickin' Around (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__YBjpLSaWs). I'm sure there are a ton of other examples but I can't find any right this second... Is there a program that can do it automatically or through a plug-in, or is it all frame-by-frame work? Any help would be great!
