I have a flash contact form I created in flash cs3 for Player 9 and AS2.0, with several input text fields. I have some issues that I can't solve, that are all about the text cursor behavior:

Once the user clicks an input text field, the cursor appears there, as it should. But then the problems start. To summarize it all: the text cursor just wouldn't get away!!
Nevermind where the user clicks afterwards, whether on another part of the page, the form's "submit" button, and even after submitting - the text cursor just stays there, blinking me into insanity for the past few hours. After a VERY long time, and comparing everything possible to a form I downloaded without this problem, I figured it out - when I change the Player version to 8 (or below) - it works just fine! when I change back to Player version 9, the problem appears!

Is there a solution to this annoying issue, or should I just publish to Player 8? Is there any harm in publishing to 8 instead of 9?

Please assist me before I start a hunger strike in front of Adobe's headquarters...
