Job Description
The web UI software engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing the web UI for Digital Fountain’s TV-quality video content delivery network (CDN). This position is responsible for creating clean, XHTML markup, developing interfaces and interactions using CSS, JavaScript and Photoshop. The ideal applicant will have a strong level of proficiency with web standards-based design, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Adobe and Macromedia Suites including Macromedia Flash and ActionScripting. The ability to communicate effectively with designers, developers, marketers and project managers within the organization is essential. This candidate should be passionate about creating beautifully simple and usable designs with an emphasis in accessibility and web standards.


Primary Responsibilities
In this job you will:

• <LI class=MsoNormal>Develop a customer portal for managing video content publishing, reporting, and billing <LI class=MsoNormal>Create a customer web SDK for embedding our patented technology into their web sites <LI class=MsoNormal>Work directly with customers to design the optimal user interface <LI class=MsoNormal>Work in an agile development environment requiring the deployment of frequent web UI updates <LI class=MsoNormal>Research, cost, and recommend appropriate web technologies and solutions <LI class=MsoNormal>Conduct industry research and stay current on best practices, and emerging technologies <LI class=MsoNormal>Support a wide array of browsers <LI class=MsoNormal>Provide estimates for how long it will take to complete development tasks <LI class=MsoNormal>Handle multiple project deliverables and balance multiple priorities and deadlines
• Work with developers, system engineers, and QA engineers throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases
