original .fla file accidentally turned into .swf file
Sorry if this topic has already been posted or if I break some rule on this forum (this is my first post, so yeah), but the other day I was working on a flash file for my website (.fla extension) and when I tried opening it again to edit it today I discovered it had changed into a .swf file and so I couldn't edit it. Instead of having the usual .fla file to open as well as the compressed .swf version, there was two .swf files (if that makes sense, I geuss im not expressing myself too great here).
I know you can download converters that could convert the .swf file back into the original .fla file, but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to recover my original file and if not what went wrong (otherwise i'll probably end up doing it again). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, mrpoate |
