OK,
I'm so **** frustrated with flash. I've programmed in everything from C++ to PL/SQL, and it'z so inconsistent and shifty.... HELP!!! I have a flash movie with 2 scenes. Scene 1 has one frame. Scene 2 has one frame. On frame 1 of Scene 1 there is a 'pre-loader' movie clip of 80 frames. At the end this instance I'd like to go to the first frame of scene 2 of the flash movie. The first frame of Scene 2 in the flash movie has a label called "start". NO other frame in the entire flash movie has a label called start. _root.gotoAndPlay("Scene 2", "start"); while this should work, it DOES NOT WORK. Flash is so LAME. In my mind, regardless of how many levels of movie clips you are burried into, the above code should ONLY mean the root flash movie itself. But this DOES NOT WORK. I would attach the fla file but I don't see where from here. Thanks, Vmusic
