Hello,
I have a trivial programming task Flash5 is making very difficult.

Task: Make a template for a draggable movie clip. The idea is that I can make instances of this template easily with all behavior neatly encapsualted with in the template.

Approach: I design a Movie Clip Symbol with two layers. Bottom layer is the artwork (an image) the top layer is an instance of a Button Symbol. This is all I have done. Nothing has been instanced in the Scene. Nothing has been dragged onto the Scene stage. I'm just mucking about with a single Movie Clip Symbol at this point.

Problem: Flash 5 refuses to let me attach the action code (StartDrag and StopDrag basically). Try as I might I *cannot* type in any bloody code. Arggghh!

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Douglass Turner
