I was wondering how to get the downloads on my site to bypass the Information Bar in Internet Explorer. I can do this fine with a relative path in HTML, but I can't seem to do this with Flash 8 with relative or absolute paths. See I have port 80 redirect for my website, because my ISP blocks port 80, so when you click on a link to download something the information bar comes down. When you click the information bar to download the file, the page refreshes back to my start page, this also happens when you just click refresh. My old site, which is just plain HTML, I can click one of my download links and it goes right to "save" or "open" file, this is with a relative path for the link.
Any Tips or Tricks?? |
