Flash Video with skin inserted in Powerpoint 2003 inconsistencies.

Hey guys, I haven't been posting hehe, been learning flash day in and day out. So the project I'm working on right now is Culligan Water. I'm sure you all have heard of it, its world wide water.

I'm preparing a powerpoint for their Mid State fair.

Using Flash 8. I encoded a .mov to a .flv and chose a stock skin. I then imported the flash file into Powerpoint and it seemed to work fine. I'm not sure what settings I used, if I encoded using Sore or On2. Not even sure if that is the problem, I'm trying to narrow it down, and thought Powerpoint was not treating the swf right. But then realizing that the swf plays fine in preview in powerpoint and in the swf player. Sometimes I get inconsistencies with flash 8 and sometimes can't even test the movie once the video is on the stage. Gah.. Its so wierd I had a perfectly running video with full function and now I can't get the skin to show. I did see the output error that it could not copy the skin swf to the location of the .fla and it said that the skin swf may not be visible, and when I import it to Powerpoint, the skin is not visible but the video plays without the controls in preview mode inside PP.. Anyway I wanted to drop the post in case anyone else was trying this. I do know I have a plugin called Power Plugs for Powerpoint which allows me to insert flash movies I believe. From a company called Crystal Graphics.. If all this is compatible with each other... Who knows..

Anyone getting .flv problems with the skins they have??

My thanks in advance.
