I'm a bit lost here

I need to stream an mp3 with a single toggle button Play/Stop and a volume slider.....this already hurts.....this is where I get even more lost.....

I need to locate the mp3 from a query string eg:

Code:

stream.swf?username=cybercampbell&item_name=test.mp3

and now it get even more tricky (for me anyway)

I now need to grab the mp3 from the correct url/directory by extracting the following info from the query string...this is where the file will be:

Code:

http://www.mydomain.com/users/c/cy/cybercampbell/av/test.mp3

so as you can see i've used the username to get there using this method:

u/us/username
b/bo/bob
s/sa/sarah

all taken from username

/users/ and /av/ will always be the same

any ideas?
