Hi,
this is really basic, but searching the forum hasn't given me any answers... I'm want to load jpg images in various sizes and set them to a fixed size, 250x100. I've tried using the loader component but there I didn't manage to resize at all so now I'm trying imageMovieClip.loadMovie("img.jpg"). As I've understood it resizing is done with _xscale and _yscale, and they work, but I need to know the original image size in order to find out the scaling in percentage, and I can't figure out how to retrieve them. Tracing imageMovieClip._width gives insanely large values, not whats shown on the stage at all... Please, this must be quite easy, or? |
