I am a new Flash designer, using Flash 8 Pro. I cannot figure out how to set the actionScript for more than one dynamic text field in one form. I have set 2 dynamic text input fields, both in scene 1.
My current code (entered in the actions layer at the top of the layers) is: loadVariables("namechange_top.txt", this); loadVariables("namechange_bottom.txt", this); While the text from both .txt files shows when I test the movie, only the later of the two shows when I publish. (And, as might be expected, when I switch these two lines of code, the later one is still the one that appears.) The text fields have been named "holderTop" and "holderBottom." The var for each of the two text files has been set in the appropriate text field. It has been suggested that I include an event handler. It does not appear that I would need one, but if I did, how would I include it? (what code would I use?) Thank you! |
