Flash 5 frame rate on Macintosh different than PC

I have been developing on Win 2000 with Flash 5. The frame rate is set at 20 as I was a bit worried about the frame rate warnings that Macromedia said about going over 20.
Here is the bug. On a Macintosh the frame rate is not getting over 15. If I set the frame rate at 15 it goes at 10. Is flash 5 truly this bad? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Check out http://www.switchinteractive.com/test It is just some various frame rate things which run at exactly the set frame rate on pc but horrible on macs. Does anybody have something similar happening. Thanks, Ian.
