RollOver and RollOut conflict
Hi,
i am trying to make a fading effect for a series of interlinked horizontal images. What I have so far is a movie that has a couple of movies on layer 1, named movie1 to movieX. Inside is a tween going from opacity 0% (frame 1, with a stop) to 100% (frame 10, with a stop) and back to 0% (frame 20). Than on a layer above (2) I have buttons, covering these movies. These buttons control the movies with on(RollOver) and on(RollOut), like movie1.gotoandplay(1) and so on. The fading in (and fading out) applies to all the movies except the one, lying directly under the btn in question. It works when i go over the individual button and then go out vertically, so not colliding with another button/movie. The problem is that when I go from one button to another (so, horizontally), the script crashes, that is it mixes up the fading order. As I see it, it is probably because the on(RollOver) and on(RollOut) statements are in conflict. Is that so and how can I fix it? Any ideas? I hope the decription is clear, if not, I can explain it further. Thanx, m. |
