Minor actionscript help, trying to make sense out of this...
Can someone tell me what this line does? This thing is bugging the crap out of me, and I am trying to understand, but for some reason, I just cannot wrap my head around it. For somereason, the colon before the 'r' absolutely stumps me. The code IS correct, I'm just not sure what the function of the line is.
Actionscript:
set("p" add i add ":r", eval("r" add i));P is a move clip, i is a numeric variable, as is "r"add i (r1, r2, r3, etc, etc...). Now, here's the other thing, I think this may have been made in an older version of flash, so there may be a new way to do this. However, I'm not worried about that right now, I just want to to know what this specific line of code is attempting to do. Not in reference to the program (for those who may ask), just what it DOES. Thanks in advance, and sorry about the long entry (my first) for such a small piece of code. Last edited by Scottae : 10-28-2005 at 02:27 AM Reason: Format with AS tags |
