Yello there... I've searched these forums for a while and as far as that tells I'm not sure there's been posted an answer to my question, so here goes.
I've seen a lot of tutorials explaining how to make combo boxes link to set URLs, but not really any about how to just link to certain frames in the timeline. You see, I'm trying to make a web comic navigation system with links to 'next comic', 'previous comic' and a jump menu for people who've read up to a certain point. I have all the buttons done and working but for the jump menu. I've tried to copy and paste the tutorial Actionscript for URL-linking combo boxes and just change the 'getURL' to 'gotoAndStop', but I'm not too familiar with Actionscript and have no idea what to put after 'gotoAndStop' ![]() I do apologise if I should have posted this in the 'Newbie' forum, heh heh. I hope I've explained enough. If anyone could supply me with the Actionscript I should be using and the method to go by regarding this, that would be just grand. ^^ |
