Selecting within buttons
Basically my boss decided that I should use Flash to try and make the company's site look funkier. Problem is, I've never used it before. I've been playing around with it all afternoon and I'm learning pretty quick but I still have a problem.
I can select and create buttons/symbols and make them spiral/explode etc. but I wondered how I can select stuff within buttons. I'm enclosing a copy of the picture I need to edit.
As you can see, there is the square on the left and then the text. Basically what I want to do is make the cube spin round every so often. As for the timings and the sequencing, I can do that with Fireworks so there's no problem there. Thing is, Flash won't let me select just the cube within the image. Maybe I'm being really stupid or perhaps this is something really advanced but basically I need help with it. Once I know how to just make the box rotate without the text following it, I'll be fine. Any help on this will be very much appreciated. Many thanks, Joe.
PS, if anyone feels like being really generous and doing it for me then that would be wonderful but if so, please exaplain how to do this as this is a wonderful program and I would really like to know how to do this so I can appease my boss!
