mask prevents showing of text in TextArea component...
I have a menu that has five movie clips that will slide back and forth depending on what button the user presses. There is a mask on the stage so only the contents of one MC will show at a time.
I've been inserting the content into the MC's, but if I put in a textArea component and put text in it, the text won't show up. All I see is a blank textArea. I've tried loading the text from an external file, sticking a textArea in an external MC and then loading the MC by using the loadMovie....I always get the same result of no text visable in the textArea. How can I get the text to show up behind the mask that I have?
