At the end of my PNG rope. Help!
Ok I've read all the forums about PNG image quality and haven't really found an answer to it...so let me throw my scenario at you.
I have a movie with about 15 layers and about 500 frames so far. I have an assortment of logos imported in as transparent PNG's right out of PS CS. I also have those PNG's performing tweens...everything from motion to alpha tweens. It looks really great in the stage...but the minute I do a Test Movie or export it, those same PNG's look terrible. What I have been doing is importing the PNG's using FILE/IMPORT then converting them to symbols. After the problem seemed to come from nowhere, I decided to import them to the library and then play with the settings of the PNG, like changing it from the default JPG compression to PNG lossless, which makes sense. Even after doing that I am still getting the choppiness around the edges. I havent resized the PNG's in most cases...regardless they are all coming out looking terrible. Any clue? I would gladly send my source to one of the pro's if they would be willing to help. Thanks in advance...sorry to throw a doozy at you! Curt curt@inkdesigngroup.com |
