Ok, I've spend most of the night trying to find out how to pass a php variabe to a flash file with no luck.
Here's what I've done so far: PHP code: PHP Code:
I've also tried the above without the speech marks. In flash I have created a textbox, with no instance name, and the variable name set to vForename. I then converted this to a symbol, exporting it to ActionScript, setting the code as follows: [SWF] onClipEvent(load) { loadVariables("http://osiris.sunderland.ac.uk/~ca3gco/flash/test.php", this,"POST"); }[/SWF] I've also tried "GET" in the method with no luck. Can someone PLEASE tell me where I'm going wrong! It seems such a simple task! |
