help getting started
I've read through common questions and I'm still a bit lost about the process, I have made simple flash movies where text fades in then out, but thats it as of now. What i want to make is a website, nothing crazy just buttons that are interactive. My problem is I'm not sure how to go about applying what i need to do...
I have everything set up and heres the concept, the more info i provide the easier for someone to help with specifics.
Ok for the nav links i will have the word in a certain font (media, home etc.)
What i want is that when i rollover the words a line draws out pointing to the specific part on a drawing of an airplane spec. Point is I want the line to draw out from the word, not just appear. Then when you click on it it loads the page into a box that pops up, not a pop up window but a window like the ones at Keane's site http://www.keanemusic.com/
So you say great, get to work. Well my problem is I'm not sure how to find the steps to get started, my first major task is the links, so how do you do that? I have the image for the backround i want, I created a seperate layer for the text and a layer for the line in the timeline, I saw that you can add a behaviour to the text and I'm guessing my next course would be something with that. Anyways help me get on the right track and if anyone has a sample of something like this they created perhaps I could learn by seeing.
Thanks for all help in advance!
