I have been using the “Scroll Bar” component from MX in a dynamic Text Field to show dynamic posts from an XML generated “Message Board.”

For some strange reason unless I populate during authoring the text field with a substantial amount of text, the scroll bar will not work –It goes up & down a tiny fraction of the amount it needs to.

Put a load of text in the field during authoring & it works a dream –Including showing text from previous posts that would not work before I prepopulated!

All I have been doing to use the component is drag it onto the dynamic field during authoring & set it’s parameters to point at the text field – Is it possible that I should be doing something else code wise?
