giving instance names
Hi,
Am back with another problem. I am working with Flash MX 2004 Pro. I have an insatnce of a movieclip symbol on the stage, to which i have given an instance name in the Properties dialog box. But whne i am trying to target this instance by clicking on the Insert a Taregt Path icon on the Action window, a Rename alert is coming with the message "Instance name required to use this object as a target" with the options of Rename and Cancel. Clicking on Rename opens a textbox, where i am putting the same instance name again , and can then only use it as a target. Strangely, this is happening with only one instance on the stage, and not the others. Can anyone please tell me why this is happening. emmaarcee |
