drag and drop
Hi,
I hope this makes sense: I have four objects (buttons within movie clips). I also have a target object (movie clip). When one of the four objects is dragged and dropped onto the target object, a message appears. This message is dependent on which object is dropped on the target. I have implemented this functionality and it works fine. Now, what I want is a general message to appear (say, "Too many objects") each time more than one object is dropped on the target. I thought I could keep track of a counter variable each time an object is dragged and dropped on the target, or I could check for all possible combinations of two objects on the target but this requires many if statements. Is there an alternative approach that I could use? Thanks |
