i would like my scrollPane component to automatically scroll to the right, as the content represents a daily count-down and the most recent will be the right-most item.
apparently, i should be able to use the hPosition property to tell the component where to position itself, but this is not working. what i have: a scrollPane component called "sp" on the stage, loading a swf called "cd-scrollContent.swf" sp.contentPath = "cd-scrollContent.swf"; sp.hScrollPolicy = "on"; sp.hPosition = 1000; (the hPosition number is arbitrary, supposing my content is about 2000 pixels wide) nothing happens. can anyone explain why or what i might be doing wrong? thanks thanks thanks. |
