How to import video to Movie Clip?
Hi
This may seem like a simple task but i am having real difficulty trying to add an avi file to my presentation! I import the file to the library which works fine, then i use the editor to clip the video to the correct size and adjust hue, brightness etc. But i want the video to be contained in a movie clip and when i add it to the stage it says it needs to add in another 200 frames or so to play? Can i have the clip set so that it can be added in a movie clip and will only take up one frame on my timeline? Sorry, im trying my best to explain!

Sure, in the library create a new symbol, of type movieclip from the menu button in the library panel. Then double click that symbol in the library to edit it. Drag the movie (avi) onto the stage and allow it to create more frames. Next come back to the main _root stage an drag your new movieclip (now containing the avi on it's own timeline) onto the main stage (taking up just 1 frame).
