Output text effects in .fla format!

Text-Osterone generates flash animated text effects in seconds. Outputs SWF and FLA files.

Well I bought Text-Osterone last week. Great program does what its supposed to. Has well over 100 effects I believe all are pretty amazing. I think 40 dollars is a littttle expensive, but yes it was worth it. I purchased it for my Mac, and it runs great all though its been unexpectedly quitting but so has Flash and Bryce so something may just be weird with my computer. This programs worth the money, its highly useful it exports into fla and swf, allows background colors and images, matrix effects, fades, slides, lasers, fire, explosions, waves, zooms and much much more. Check out the demo. One thing I hope to see from Vertical Moon in there next update, is the ability to free move the text, instead of typing a percise pixel for it to be placed suck as 200 x 300 you should be able to drag and drop the text to where you want. Itd save sooo much more time than the program already does :-D. Anyway check it out Im sure youll like it.

hi Epidem1c
coincidently saw your post on Textosterone, while posting an announcement myself, see PJ/Supreme4 components in New Softwares. It's more expensive but has over 150 effects and there's nothing which beats it in usability and options within Flash MX.
P.

ps; Although their prog is ok, Textosterone literally copied quit some effects from other text-effect softwares, including my own and some which I developed for Wildform (e.g. their criss cross, dimension, explode in, whirlpool, ball, creatures and equaliser effect leave no doubt whatsoever)

strange, I tried to find back the posting but seems to be missing, have no idea why.
Anyway, you can find the link also on Flashmove contest page,
http://flashmove.com/forum/showthrea...threadid=14369
or go directly to
http://www.patrickjansen.net/components

As you see in link above, the effects are components for Flash MX, so it does not matter if you have Mac or Windows, as long as you have Flash MX, you use the effects directly in Flash. There is no need for import like textosterone or other text effect softwares, drag&drop an effect from component panel on stage, set text... and done.
Default installer requires MM Extension Manager to install the effects, but I have manual .fla in worst case cenario.

Hope this answers your doubt,
greetz,
PJ

Wow, you have some pretty cool ones in there, for some reason I really liked the fireworks effect I thought that one was cool. Ya I see some similar effects from Text-Osterone like the smoke effect, and the explosion one is completely identical. But 75 dollars is a lot to ask for all of those, and I already own Text-Osterone so I wouldnt see a point in my purchasing that one too. Maybe, if you got even more or something like in a new update Id consider it but for now Im fine thanks. Looks good though keep up the work.

See your point. If you have textosterone, it could suffice for basic use.

Just let me point out that the PJ / Supreme4 components effects have far greater customizability options (see overviews on http://www.patrickjansen.net/components/help) per effect, it far outblinks textosterone.
Besides that, since it's all done in the .fla itself, you can modify effects any way you like, also customise directly in component parameter panel instead of going back and forth between external text effect software for small changes and import, and also most effects are scripted (small size) .. in comparison to frame-tweened results of textosterone.

Thought I'd add this just to point out difference.
