My first thought was "584k!!! if my isp isn't up for it I could be in for a wait here", but it loaded quick enough & all was well..........

A suggestion would be to add a bytesloaded to you're preloader, so that the surfer knows how much longer is left....If you're not sure how to do this let me know & I'll send you the code

Thanks for your offer, do you have any suggestions for the bytes loaded preloader? I tried to do it but it seems to only want to work for the scene that it is in? And I have multiple scenes in the movie.

If i understand you correctly do parts of the Bytes load after the initial movie has loaded & started playing??

If this is the case I'd change the 584 to the total number of bytes that has to be <b>waited</b> on before the movie started.....after all you're just trying to give the viewer an idea as to how long they have to wait, so just use the preloader you have.
