I have an xml driven flash slide show. Not sure if that is the way to describe it. Anyway, it is a .swf that reads a list of image names from an xml file. Right now it is running 5 slides. I have recently updated the images so that it now plays a different slide in the list. I have basically replaced one of the images with a new one, but I cant get the new slide to show up. Even after deleting the old one and replacing it with the new one, it is still playing the old one?

Is that a cache problem with IE or Mozilla? How can I force the slide show to play the new slides as I will do many updates a week.

Thanks for any help i can get. My concern is that while I can clear my memory and see the new page. I will have visitors that dont know how or wont know to do that to see the new slides and I need the page to do that for them.

Yes it is cache problem.
The trick is to send some random variable to the SWF in terms of FLASHVARs.Generally this random number is the javascript time stamp.Send it to the SWF from HTML page, and every time the SWF is loaded it will be updated with the new datas.

Im really really new to flash, is there anyway for you to explain how you do this with code examples. I dont know how to do what you just said and I really want to learn
