Hey i was wondering if any of the web-designers/computer graphics guys, from the UK, would mind telling me what qualifications they have! ( to get a good job )
Im asking because i what to be one myself! ( a graphics guy that is )

Hi Ronster,

I was interested in photography and got into photoshop that way went to uni did an HND (Design) photomedia, then did a BA (Hons) Photography and Imaging. But I specialised in graphics and photography for the web.

What ever quals you got and what ever you want to do it is the experience that is the most important, qualifications help loads to get you in the door, but if you can prove you can do it then you are more than half way there. The guy who has the desk next to me came to us as a trainiee who didn't even know how to use photoshop but he proved he has the talent so now he has been here a year.

What are you thinking of doin? Uni course or somin?

thats ages, for me ( im only 14) but i was just wondering for intrest!
At the moment im doing GCSE's (just started)
I'm hoping to do A-level phisics, art, maths and english.

but anywayz...

He he, by the time that you get to college you chould be able to teach the stuff if you ask lots of questions at places like this. Where you based?
