Im trying to improve my AS, so im going to buy some books, here u guys so good in AS, pls give some advice on which book should i buy...... pls....... im planning on buying colin moock (ActionScript : The Definitive Guide)
... is that book ok ?

yep the definite guide also teaches u oop and stuff

but if u want a real good advice...
remember when flash 5 was released... compare the time from the release of flash 4 to the release of flash 5 to the time release flash5 to now...
u already might have guessed...
just calculate and then calculate how long yar book is going to b helpfull then...
i would wait...

a book always is a relict from acient development.
boards and newsgroups r the fastest way to inform...

but if u want to buy a book the definite guide is a very good choice (not for beginners perhaps but u already managed to sign up here so u r not a complete newbie).

Manual is the most important book!

Hei man try to read the flash manual u can get some valuable information and syntactical definition only from the manual no other books will probably speak about the sysntax this much elaborately. So, try to read the manual. try 'flash 5 action script guide.'
