Class file not updating

Hey all.

I'm having a very very strange problem. I don't know if it's an AS3 problem or an issue with CS5.5. I've never encountered this before getting CS5.5.

The problem is that when I modify a class, the changes aren't taking effect in the program. There are no errors at all. And I'm talking even a simple modification like putting a trace statement into the class. If I remove anything important from the class, such as a variable declaration, it does complain and I get compile errors as I should, but any addition to the class and nothing happens. If I add a new function and attempt to call it, it crashes and tells me it is not a function. If I put a breakpoint at the new line of code and debug it, the debugger says the source code at that location cannot be found.

Has anyone else seen such a thing? I've searched and searched and cannot find it. At first I had the problem with just one file, but now it's happening to others. My only solution is to create a new file entirely and that's just not going to work.

You are saving the class file before any test publish right?

All these files are version controlled (SVN). Do you think that could be causing some kind of corruption?

Here's what you can do to help make Flash better, send a Bug report to Adobe.
Hopefully they can help you address that.
