Notice that if you resize your Navigator, Flash is resized too. That's a very big usability problem. I think you should fix that :)

Well, the really problem is:

If you have a big resolution it waste too much CPU.

a.--->it´s true that it´ll deform IF you deform the window. but why is there a problem?...on other sites you see only a part of the site if you deform the window, but only if you see all, it´s possible to use my site(special navigation)...
b.----> it´s true that it wastes much cpupower if you have a big resolution...but i think if you have a big resolution, you also have a lot of cpu power, isn´t it so?:D

Specially because of this I've said that's a bug to fix. If you need your web to be viewed in all resolutions you can do much more things :)

Have you ever thought about why people uses higher resolutions?

I think one of the choices resolutions can help us is to see everything much more global. In fact, everything we see is smaller than using a narrower resolution.

A people who has a 2048x1536 will expect to see a smaller page than what you're trying to show us.

You're right when you're saying that higher resolutions is almost always a significant way to a much more powered CPU but, being realistic, CPUs don't work in the same proportion.

How to solve this problems?
Just use a good frameset :p

my site isn´t about searching for information or something serious...it´s "only" about design´n art experiments and for this
i´ve made it....hey before i made this "deforming-thing"
my site had a fixed size....and so it didn´t work with a resolution less than 1024*768 and on a resolution bigger than 1024*768 it looked small and unplaced....now everything works good....and if it needs too much cpu power...just make the window smaller....:cool:

Hey all,

I checked out www.caliman.de and had problems with navigation ...
<B>Viewed on (Works PC spec):</B>

RAM - 128MB PC100
GRAPHIX - 8MB AGP
MODEM - 64K ISDN</I>

I found it to be very slow and the content moved in slowly. This is obviously a CPU hungry site. I had to wait for the mouse cursor to catch up each time ...

Although the site looked good and was interesting ...

One thing you are wrong is that, there is something ORIGINAL. Maybe you are busy to think of something original, and simply copy source codes from somewhere else. :D

some information about me and my site:
i have an athlon 500
256 mb ram
and a 32mb grafikcard
....i know that my site works slow on computer with less cpu power(much transparancy)...if you have problems just use a lower quality for the flash movies or make the window smaller....then it gets faster:D
it´s my first internet work...i work with flash now about 6 months...and i know that my site isn´t ready...so i´ll be realy happy for some constructive critics....realy....
so stay tuned for more:D
