Well, I just finished uploading the newest version of Innovative FX.
This is a much different design than the last, and I was not alone this time. This was a collaboration between myself and Samuel Wan, who now works with Innovative FX's projects. I am proud to say Sam is a great designer, and I am thankful for his hard work put in this site as well, and amd looking forward to all of our future projects.
Be expecting to see many new project releases from us in the near future.
Enjoy the new site. :)

hi innovativefx....
i'v been visiting ur site from time to time over the past
year....think u r a great designer.... :)
i'm shoure Samuel Wan is a good idea..and i wish u the best
of luck in the future.... u guys probably stay around in the
Flash-scene for years to come....
Ur new site is innovative with a very special and funny nav.
I'l will however take the risk, and point out some
minor details on ur new site.
1.
the sliding content windows...before u clik the menu..
they dont apeare so clean....(top left and bottom right
edges seems a little "smudge"?)
maby let them have just stright lines...or skip them totaly.
2.
in ur portfolio section....when using the map instead of clikin the lines,
the content txt dont apeares i the left window...
3.
i think maby this new site apeares a little "empty".
now....dont misunderstand my point here....
u have a nice site....with some realy nice actionscriptin,
and i think u r one of few designers that probably
wil go far in this industry.
regards
Tor

thanks for the comments and feedback. :)
To answer your suggestions. :)
1) The corners look a little "smudged" because of the cropped corner on the windows... I decided to leave it due to I liked the shape of the window when open. :)
2) We thought about that, but this was a rush project, we completed in less than 2 weeks. We finished it at the last due hour pretty much... we will probably add that feature later, or just redesign again when we got more time! :)
3) hmm... empty? Someone else told me I had to much content! haha.
Thanks again, and expect to see much more work from Sam and I in the near future.
Hey Jim that's great now that wooozle's working with you. I'm sure we'll see some great stuff coming out of your studio...
I luv the pendulum menu. Very nice. And this is quite a quick follow up to V3. That was really nice too. But reckon this one has more corporate appeal. Also in the portfolio section i like the way you have provided an alternate navigation to the draggable map. most people get carried away by the heavy duty scripting part that they forget to put in the easy to navigate option.
Overall, nice site. well thought out...
Cheers

Thanks man. :)
1st, yep, we wanted a corporate type site this time, but will be adding a "play" site soon too. :) We have just been both very busy lately. I just got back from meeting Sam for the first time in person tonight. He is speaking at a conference here in Atlanta tommorrow.
2nd, I LOVE ACTIONSCRIPTING. :) But yes, it is VERY important to make the site user friendly, while trying to reach the "cool" factor at the same time. :)
Thanks again for the great comments on this new site of ours!
That reminds me, isn't he speaking at FF2K1 too? Will you be around there? Would be nice to meet you guys...

Nav,
Sam will be speaking at FF2K. He's got a great presentation put together for it too! :)
I won't be able to attend it though. I wish I could though. :(
